What is the best way to reattach/sew velcro fasteners on a jacket. I would prefer to use my sewing machine.?

Try to edgestitch the tape on the margins without the fuzz or hooks, if possible. Sort through the box of presser feet to find the right one for the job. I usually wind up using an edgestitch foot. Zipper and blindhem feet work better on other machines, in my experience
