Mini crib owners: how long was your baby able to sleep in it?

My son uses a mini crib at his grandparents house and so far so good, I like them because I can actually put my son into his crib without having to go on my tippy toes. I am 4'11 and the one that we have at our house is a normal crib and It is a challenge for me to get him in his crib. But with that said, I don't see him lasting much longer in the mini crib, he is going to be 6 months old here shortly and I don't think he will fit in it once he gets closer to the age of 1.
