Was my teacher justified in reporting me?

that surely wasnt right of him at all. however when picking your adult of choice, I learned to NEVER tell a teacher. EVER. that's just asking to get noticed. that's very unfortunate that it drove you to drop out. a lot of teachers treat everyone the same.. as if he or she will always benefit from people meddling in his/ her life when really their troubled childless behinds haven't the slightest clue what a person like yourself is seeking in confiding with an adult. this is always a tricky situation. they are only legally justified if you are a minor, which you weren't. morally he was in no way justified. how to bring closure is up to you. it depends if your aim is for self closure or closure involving talking to this teacher. good luck
